Working with the Google Digital News Initiative Innovation Fund

I’m delighted to be working with the Google Digital News Initiative as an external assessor for the latest round of its Innovation Fund. The initiative exists to support digital journalism in Europe, and the fund already supports a huge variety of projects.If you’re a media or technology company working on something new and innovative in the world of digital news, this fund may be able to help.The application window opened last week, and will close on 9 April 2018. The successful projects will then be announced in late May.I never tire of meeting interesting people doing interesting things. Any work that allows me to do that, thinking about their ideas’ strengths and challenges, is a joy.
